Haven runs family-style children’s homes where kids who’ve lost their parents grow up loved, safe and in school. We keep siblings together, invest in each child’s education, and stay with them all the way into adulthood.

I came to Haven when I was seven, with nothing. They gave me a bed, a school bag, and a sponsor who wrote to me every month. Those letters gave me hope and helped me believe in my future. Today, I’m a nurse, and I write to a Haven child of my own, hoping to pass that same hope on.

As a child, I loved drawing, but I never imagined it could become a career. Haven encouraged my creativity and gave me opportunities to learn and grow. Their support helped me believe in my talent and follow my dreams. Today, I’m a graphic designer, creating work I once only dreamed about.

I arrived at Haven when I was eight, scared and unsure of what the future held. They gave me a safe place to grow and teachers who believed in me. Their support gave me confidence and hope for my future. Today, I’m a primary school teacher, helping children discover dreams of their own.
